RoadSafety is a comprehensive In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) designed for enterprise fleet management and driver safety compliance. The platform monitors thousands of vehicles in real time, processing telemetry data from GPS devices to detect speeding, harsh braking, aggressive acceleration, fatigue indicators, and accident events.
The system implements a Driver Performance Rating (DPR) framework that scores each driver on a weekly rolling basis, classifying them into Red, Amber, and Green bands based on safety-critical event thresholds. Fleet managers receive real-time alerts for critical incidents, including crash detection with pre-event data capture and can initiate structured coaching sessions to address recurring behavior patterns.
The platform supports multi-tenant organizational hierarchies, role-based access control for administrators, fleet managers, line managers, and drivers, GDPR-compliant trip privacy management, and a business intelligence module with drill-down dashboards for risk analysis, fleet performance, and event trending. The interface is fully localized in Romanian, features a responsive design optimized for desktop and tablet use, and integrates with live device communication for real-time fleet monitoring.
