This Privacy Policy explains how marius-oprea.ro (the "Site") handles information. I believe in privacy by design and I strive to collect the absolute minimum amount of data necessary to provide you with a functional and secure experience.

I do not track you. My goal is to share information, not to monitor my visitors.

  • I do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, or any other third-party tracking scripts.
  • I do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
  • I do not profile my visitors, and I do not track your behavior across other websites.

2. Information I collect

The only personal data I process is:

  • Direct correspondence: If you contact me via the contact form or email, I will use your name and email address solely to reply to your inquiry. I will never use this information for marketing or newsletters without your explicit future consent.
  • Server logs: My web server automatically logs your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. This is a technical requirement to ensure website security and to prevent cyber attacks (legitimate interest under GDPR). These logs are automatically deleted periodically and are not used to identify individuals.

3. Third-party services

While I do not track you, the platform I use (Ghost) may load certain assets from third-party providers to ensure the Site functions correctly:

  • Content delivery networks (CDNs): To deliver the website content faster based on your location.
  • Fonts/images: Some visual assets may be served from Google Fonts or Unsplash. These providers may see your IP address in order to deliver the requested asset to your browser.

4. Data storage and security

Your data (such as emails you have sent me) is stored securely. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. I handle your information with the same level of security I would want for my own data.
